Students learn how to use these tools in the one-year Certificate ECG and CT Scan Technician program, as well as how to work with clinicians to determine patients' needs through technology research. Each college has a different application process. Merit and an entrance exam are both used to determine admission to this program. Depending on the institution, a course has a different price. This course includes material on topics including cardiovascular diagnostics, a general overview of human anatomy, the respiratory system, bioelectricity, the skeletal system, cells, and the cardiovascular system. Entry into this program requires passing PCM courses as well as the 10th and 12th grades in a science track. Entrance tests are available at some of the universities that applicants can select to attend. Candidates for the certificate program in grades 10th and 12th are eligible to apply. It is solely based on merit from the most recent degree that qualifies.
